Volunteering

Welcome and thank you for choosing The Brookdale Hospital and Medical Center for your volunteer work. Opportunities are available at The Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, Brookdale Family Care Centers (BFCC), The Schulman and Schachne Institute for Nursing and Rehabilitation, the Adult Day Care Center, or the Schlang Pavilion Assisted Living Community.

Each year, more than 700 Brookdale Hospital Volunteers offer their selfless contributions of time and energy by enhancing the quality of our services to our patients, families and visitors.  Brookdale Hospital Volunteers help  make our hospital and nursing home stays brighter, more comfortable, less intimidating and a lot less lonely for patients, or add administrative/clerical support for our staff.
